Delete your A-Z Trivia account and data
A-Z Trivia is provided by A-Z Trivia, LLC. We aim to give you options for deleting your data if you choose.
Delete from the app
Within the app, open "Settings", then press "Delete account", type DELETE, and confirm. Stay connected until the app confirms completion. If a connection fails, use Retry. Deleting your A-Z Trivia account does not delete your Google account.
Request deletion without the app
Fill out the Contact Us form and select ‘Account/data deletion’ under ‘What can we help you with?' We may request an additional verification step to protect your account. Never send your password, authentication token or identity documents when filling out the form or in any follow-up communications with A-Z Trivia.
For a guest account, explain that it is a guest and provide any account reference you already have. A username or game score alone is not proof of ownership. If you can still open the app, the Settings deletion flow is the most reliable way to identify and delete that guest. If access is lost, contact support; we will explain what verification is possible and will not delete another person's account based on an unverified request.
We will respond within 48 hours.
What is deleted
We remove the A-Z Trivia account identity, username/profile, game sessions, question assignments, selected answers, scores, issue reports and leaderboard results, including retired guest identities merged into the account. Associated answers stop contributing to Global metrics on their next refresh.
Service-provider security logs and any existing backups may remain under provider retention arrangements. A non-identifying deletion-recovery proof hash and timestamp, and local hashed deletion markers, support recovery and prevent late writes from restoring data. These technical markers currently have no automatic expiration. Cached data on another offline device may remain until reconnection or removal of that device's app data. Copies others made of public leaderboard results cannot be withdrawn from their devices.
